As a community service project and a fundraiser for the Baldwin-Whitehall Council of PTA, Abitibi Paper Retriever® Recycle Bins have bin placed at all schools in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District.

You can recycle clean and dry: newspaper, magazines, shopping catalogs, office papers, school papers and even mail. Paper maybe shredded and bagged.

No phone books, food packages or any type of cardboard, please! Nothing can be accepted from the kitchen or bathroom.

This may be done 24 hours a day/7days a week at any school building in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District.

We earn money for paper dropped off at our green and yellow Abitibi Paper Retriever® bins.

PTA Reflections Unleashes Your Artistic Talents Artistic
2011-2012 Theme : “Diversity Means…”

Students are encouraged to participate in the Harrison PTSA Reflections Program and create an original piece of artwork in one of these six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Musical Composition, Photography, and the Visual Arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making and collage).  Each category has very specific rules that must be followed.

Students who choose to participate in the Reflections Program need to submit their entry or entries along with an Official Reflections Entry Form to the Harrison Middle School Office by  date to be announced; keep listening for school announcements. No late entries will be accepted.  Entry forms & rules can be picked up in the school office or download here.

Designed to enhance rather than replace a quality arts education, the Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact the PTSA Reflections Chairman Virginia Weida

Dear Parents and Students:

The Harrison Middle School PTSA invites you to join us to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children.  We all know that children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together.  PTSA brings all these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit children.

In order to help children and their families, our PTSA sponsors programs such as CLO musical assemblies, grade level projects, 6th Grade Bingo, and Reflections in Arts.  With the help from parents and students, we now offer a Talent Show for all students at Harrison Middle School.

By becoming a member, your support will bring us closer to accomplishing these goals.  Just complete the form and return it along with your dues to the Membership table at Open House night or in an envelope marked “PTSA Membership” to school.  Our yearly membership dues are only $5.00 per person.  Please make checks payable to Harrison Middle School PTSA.  Your membership card will be mailed to you.
